Supplemental Security Income and Limits for 2020

Supplemental Security Income is a Federal income supplement program funded by general tax revenues (this is not Social Security taxes).
It is a program that aids aged, blind and disabled people who have little or no income, and it provides cash for basic needs, such as food, clothing and shelter.
If you come have a consumer that might be eligible for SSI, you can find the necessary information on https://www.ssa.gov/, including screening tools and the application processes. For basic guidelines, the chart below provides income limits when looking at this program.
